About The Position

As a Structural Engineer (Substation) Summer Intern at Black & Veatch, you will contribute to infrastructure projects that support client goals while developing professionally. The position supports substation engineering work, including design specifications and contract drawings, engineering analyses, calculations, computer modeling, report production, and project documentation. The intern is expected to work full-time in the office and be located in or relocate to Overland Park, Kansas.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program at an ABET-accredited university.
• No prior experience is required.
• Must be able to complete applicable pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks, a drug screen, and a motor vehicle records search.
