About The Position

The BIM Technician supports the Substation group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction drawings/designs under close supervision. Successful candidates will complete tasks within the Substation department designing/drafting projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.

Requirements

Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
Knowledge of Microstation is required.
Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
Good organization and communication skills.
Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
Must have permanent authorization to work permanently in US.

Nice To Haves

Two year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting preferred.
Knowledge of Autodesk Revit software a plus.
Knowledge in substation electrical protection and control and/or physical design would be beneficial.
