The Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) 2 provides counseling services to adults, youth, and their families experiencing the impact of mental health and substance use disorder. The Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) 2 is a licensed clinician, offering chemical dependency assessments and treatment services to clients and their families. The incumbent is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, and will collaborate with Mental Health Professionals, and Certified Peer Counselors in developing an individualized treatment plan. The SUDP 2 is self-motivated, conscious of self-care, compassionate, and acknowledges the ability to perform with decorum and positivity in a variety of situations. The Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) 2 plays an integral part in MDC’s healthcare services by helping to promote self-sufficiency and remove individuals and families from poverty.
