About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor in Louisville, KY. Since 2005, Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder, providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Our comprehensive approach aims to combat the opioid epidemic and guide individuals toward long-term recovery. We serve over 26,500 patients across outpatient, office-based clinics in multiple states. We are committed to diversity and fostering an inclusive environment for all employees and patients.
Requirements
- General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
- No legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Hold one or more of the following certifications/licenses: LCADC, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LPAT, CADC, CSW, LPCA, MFT, LCADCA, LMFTA, LPATA or TCADC
Nice To Haves
- Lived addiction experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
- Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
- Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
- Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
- Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
- Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
