About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to join their team in Somerset, KY. Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder since 2005, providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Requirements

• General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
• TCADC, CSW, LPCA, MFT, LCADCA, LMFTA, LPATA, LCADC, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LPAT, or CADC certification/license

Nice To Haves

• Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
• Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
• Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
• Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
• Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
• Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
