About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to join their team. Since 2005, Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder, offering accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). This approach is crucial in combating the opioid epidemic and guiding individuals toward recovery. The organization serves over 26,500 patients across outpatient, office-based clinics in multiple states. Requirements
- General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
- LADAC, LMSW, LADAC II, LCSW, LPC, and LADAC III certifications/licenses
Nice To Haves
- Lived addiction experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
- Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
- Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
- Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
- Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
- Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
