Requirements

• Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills required.
• Accurate typing up to 40 WPM.
• Multitasking and a flexible schedule required.
• Some weekend work may be necessary for this position.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in a Business or related field is preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish first contact and report claims to other parties, insurance companies and third party claim administrators.
• Accumulate subrogation documentation from body shops, Prime owned shops and other repair facilities as necessary to process claims.
• Calculate loss of use claims on behalf of Prime and their independent contractors.
• Perform collection calls for outstanding subrogation balances.
• Negotiate settlements between all parties to effectuate fair and equitable settlements.
• Maintain accurate reserve accounting, claim reporting and A/R management.
• Cross-train with cargo OSD department for backup necessary.
• Assist the department with other general duties.
