About The Position

Amentum is seeking an Submarine ILS Supply Technician to support our Pearl Harbor, HI location. The successful candidate will support all aspects of Submarine Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) of submarine modernization processes. This position is contingent upon the identification of a candidate whose expertise meets our strategic needs, at which point a dedicated, funded opening will be established. We are proactively seeking a standout professional for whom we will finalize a formal role.

Requirements

  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Secret US Government Clearance
  • High School Diploma
  • Five (5) years of military service material/supply functions experience such as: supervisory or warehouse lead at a DoD facility; financial management; logistics support for projects involving electronic/ electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment and resources
  • Knowledgeable of government supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driving permit as required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Configuration Data Manager Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA), Navy Data Environment (NDE), Supportability Integrated Logistic Capability (SILC), Technical Data Management Information Systems (TDMIS), Navy Tool for Interoperability and Risk Assessment (NTIRA).
  • Familiarity with NAVSEA submarine modernization ILS processes including ILS Certification, Risk Assessment & Waiver, Configuration Management, Supply/support providing, ILS product delivery/installation, and RMMCO check-in/check-out requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory management, material coordination, data entry, and property control in support of various supply activities and/or equipment installations.
  • Assist technicians with equipment removal/installations during the submarine modernization process.
  • Create, complete, and verify receiving/shipping documentation, noting and reporting discrepancies and damages.
  • Provide logistic deck plate support to removal/installation team leads.
  • Store, stack, and palletize heavy, sensitive, and controlled government electronic equipment within the mandated safety regulations.
  • Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
  • Perform quality assurance including inspections, inventory process checks, inspecting and examining materials, article inspections, etc.
  • Inventory management of decentralized controlled items, including supplies, and equipment.
  • Generate and submit configuration files.
