About The Position
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) supports the Department of State (DOS). The role involves implementing efficiencies, supporting the mission, solving complex problems, and maintaining organizational compliance within the SME’s area of expertise. The SME produces and/or reviews substantive or complex technical documentation that reflects detailed knowledge of technical areas identified in the statement of work. An active Secret clearance is required.
Requirements
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
- Eight years of experience.
- A master’s degree in a related field, or 12 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Aid in implementing efficiencies in the area of expertise.
- Provide mission support.
- Solve complex problems.
- Support organizational compliance in the area of expertise.
- Produce and/or review substantive or complex technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of technical areas identified in the statement of work.
