About The Position

You will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge missile and fire‑control solutions. As the Subcontract Management Staff you will be responsible for overseeing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on complex subcontracts, leading cross‑functional teams, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Requirements

Must have an active secret clearance
Prior experience with procurement, supply chain, and/or subcontracts on US Government programs.
Ability to interface effectively with Sr. Management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives.
Experience with Cost Plus, Fixed Price, and T&M subcontract types.
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions.
Experience managing development complex subcontracts.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-function Supplier Management Teams.
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / LMAP / and MFC Work Instructions.
Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense industry.
Experience with LM Procure to Pay, SC Navigator, and 1LMX S4 HANA.

Responsibilities

Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate‑to‑high‑risk subcontracts.
Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and exercise procurement delegation authority.
Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for specialized materials and services.
Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, evaluate proposals, and negotiate subcontract provisions.
Administer awarded subcontracts and oversee change activities throughout development and sustainment.
