About The Position

You will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high‑quality products to our customers, coordinating across engineering, logistics, finance, and external partners to make every piece of the puzzle fit together. As the Subcontract Management Staff you will be responsible for overseeing subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance, and driving seamless integration across functions.

Requirements

Procurement experience
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
ability to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of application
Communication and problem solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externally
ability to obtain a secret clearance
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

Major Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment
Experience with a Variety of Subcontract Contract Types
Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policies and Procedures
Experience with FARs and DFARs
Experience with LM Procure to Pay (P2P), SC Navigator and SAP
Leadership Skills
Ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members.
Business acumen, attention to contractual detail, and ability to make business-based decisions.
Ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions
Experience in negotiating favorable outcomes in supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

Manage subcontractor relationships and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and finance to align deliverables and schedules.
Monitor performance metrics and enforce compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with external partners.
Facilitate issue resolution and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
