About The Position

You will be the Subcontract Management for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high‑quality products to our customers, coordinating across engineering, logistics, finance, and external partners to make every piece of the puzzle fit together. As the Subcontract Management you will be responsible for overseeing subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance, and driving seamless integration across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 1 years of professional experience; or a related Masters degree.
  • Considered career, or journey, level.
  • Experience in subcontract management
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types
  • In depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines
  • Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
  • Aerospace program negotiation skills and experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
  • Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative
  • Self-Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Ability to be flexible and accept change
  • Must be able to resolve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Defense, government or aerospace

Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractor relationships and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and finance to align deliverables and schedules.
  • Monitor performance metrics and enforce compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with external partners.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
