We are seeking candidates for the position of Sub/El Operator in our city division that have a desire to serve the public and invest in your future and grow within the company.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a real desire to drive and serve the public.
  • A minimum of 3 years licensed driving experience is required.
  • No suspensions and not more than one moving violation in the last 3 years required.
  • No driving with a suspended/revoked license for the past 5 years required.
  • Must have the ability to successfully complete standardized assessment, education verification, employment history verification, criminal background check, medical examination including drug screening, and employment interview.
  • Must have the ability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, split days off, especially during first two years of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in operating a commercial passenger or transportation vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the public, operate revenue vehicles on fixed routes.
  • Ensure passenger and vehicle safety while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Comply with all Authority and departmental safety and security policies and procedures as well as all applicable job safety responsibilities. Reports any safety concerns, compromises or hazards affecting operations, the public, self and/or other employees. Responsible for personal safety and is encouraged to promote the safety of others.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and report any incidents, delays, accidents or passenger emergencies.
  • Prepare accident reports as needed.
