About The Position

To help process the conversion of treated flake into acceptable sheets of various thickness and densities or other molded shapes.

Requirements

• The ability to interpret and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Maintaining quality output by checking output and initiating any adjustments or action required.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Reporting maintenance requirements on the equipment used.
• Working in a safe manner and following all safety requirements.
• Operation of material handling equipment in the movement of stock and supplies.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operations of all components of sheet rolling lines, including minor repairs and adjustments when needed to maintain production of sheet material of various specifications.
• Proper use of micrometers, scales, and other inspection or measuring devices as well as visual inspection of finished sheet to maintain process parameters and product quality within specified limits.
• Maintenance of all written records required in the execution of the job.
• Ensure a culture of behavior based safety by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines in all activities, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Other duties specified as needed by supervisor.
