About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System (WVUHS) is seeking a Sub-Acute Care Physician for Garrett Regional Medical Center in Oakland, Maryland. The successful candidate will practice primarily in Oakland, Maryland, focusing on Internal Medicine. WVUHS is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals and various institutes, providing management services for local hospitals through affiliate agreements. The system has over 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees, anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown. It serves a multi-state region including West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible to obtain a state medical license.
- Completed an Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
