About The Position

As a Stylist at SSENSE, you will be responsible for the on-model, still-life, and virtual styling of our world-class e-commerce catalogue. Working within our high-volume Studio team, you will blend editorial sensibility with commercial clarity to ensure all imagery is consistent with the SSENSE identity and style guides. This role operates with creative autonomy on set, requiring a balance of artistic vision, deep fashion knowledge, and the operational rigor to meet daily production targets.

Requirements

Certificate or diploma in Fashion Design, Retail Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in fashion styling or visual merchandising, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced luxury or e-commerce studio environment.
Proven experience in both on-model and still-life styling, with a solid grasp of garment construction, fabric behavior, and apparel terminology.
Savvy with web-based platforms, computers, and Google Suite tools.
A diverse portfolio of relevant, original styling work is required for application.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute high-level on-model, still-life, and virtual styling across all catalogue categories while maintaining the SSENSE aesthetic.
Partner closely with models, photographers, and hair & makeup artists to ensure creative alignment and maintain an efficient, predictable workflow.
Conduct in-depth research on designers, brands, and collections ahead of shoots to make informed, intentional styling choices that reflect brand identity.
Support the refinement of virtual styling workflows by identifying opportunities to improve image quality, consistency, and scalability.
Act as a champion for visual standards on set, executing art direction briefs for special projects from concept to final image while troubleshooting fit or rendering issues.
