About The Position

The Stump Crew Foreman leads a team performing stump grinding and other maintenance duties related to tree removal. The role is based in Roseville, California, is full-time, and has a day shift with open availability. Travel may be up to 50%. The position requires outdoor work in potentially extreme weather and active physical work throughout the day.

Requirements

Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical.
Understanding of blue stake and utility markings.
1–3 years of stump grinding experience.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and take directions.
Ability to work as part of a team.
1–3 years of prior landscaping experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Subject to MVR, DOT physical, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Review the jobs scheduled for the day.
Clean trucks and confirm the appropriate equipment is stocked, including selecting the grinder needed for the scheduled jobs.
Check in to the truck using Samsara.
Apply safety requirements and OSHA standards.
Ensure all crew members travel safely to each jobsite.
Take before-and-after photos and upload them to Samsara.
Conduct job walk-throughs with customers before and after the work is completed.
Prepare grinding areas with a safety shield.
Ensure all team members wear required PPE.
Keep teams on schedule.
