Under direct supervision, the Studio Student Assistant will assist staff with various tasks related to studio production. This includes providing support to students and faculty in open labs and classes, setting up, cleaning, and maintaining studio equipment, assisting with studio production, managing equipment check-out, maintenance, and inventory, organizing and setting up control rooms and production rooms, handling media capture and off-load, and operating the LED wall and related equipment. The role requires the ability to take direction, show initiative, and work as a team player. The student assistant may also be required to attend meetings and work weekends as needed, assist staff with maintaining production equipment and storage, and carry equipment as required. Other duties may be assigned.
