About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a full-time Security Officer for a TV station in Allston, MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in dynamic media locations. The Security Officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests. The position requires providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional response to evolving needs. This is an unarmed security position within a team guided by innovation, integrity, caring, and teamwork.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the broadcast facility, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Support a professional, orderly environment during live broadcasts, special events, and high-traffic periods while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
