About The Position

Join the Allen County Public Library as a Part-Time Studio Guide in the heart of Fort Wayne, IN! This onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the community and foster creativity in a fun, energetic environment. You'll be the go-to person for library patrons, helping them explore our innovative studio resources and unleashing their creative potential. The position offers an hourly rate of $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is 28 hours a week and is flexible, working a mix of evening and afternoon shifts on weekends and some weekdays. Day to day As a Part-Time Studio Guide at the Allen County Public Library, you will support the day-to-day operations of the Studios at the Library, and offer customers welcoming, knowledgeable, and consistent service. You'll be the go-to for customers regarding how they can utilize Studio Services, materials, and collections, and assist with their navigation of those offerings. You'll have opportunities to bring your own ideas, develop and offer programs, and build strong relationships within the community. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a love for technology while ensuring that everyone feels included and inspired!
