About The Position
Join the Allen County Public Library as a Part-Time Studio Guide in the heart of Fort Wayne, IN! This onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the community and foster creativity in a fun, energetic environment. You'll be the go-to person for library patrons, helping them explore our innovative studio resources and unleashing their creative potential. The position offers an hourly rate of $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is 28 hours a week and is flexible, working a mix of evening and afternoon shifts on weekends and some weekdays.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on instruction to individuals and groups in cutting-edge technologies like 3D printing and digital scanning.
- Assist community organizations and groups in scheduling engaging tours and workshops that explore STEM and STEAM projects.
- Guide participants through learning experiences using tools from the Adobe Creative Suite, Arduino programming, circuitry, vinyl cutting, VHS conversion, 3D scanning, sound booth production, soldering, and sewing machines.
- Foster a love for technology while ensuring that everyone feels included and inspired.
