About The Position
West Fraser is recruiting for a Weekend Clean-up position at the Quesnel Sawmill. This entry-level role is part of the Weekend Maintenance Department and is responsible for the cleanup of plant debris and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work both in a team and independently
- Flexible availability to accommodate shift work
- A valid driver’s license
- Safety first attitude
- Computer skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and work under pressure
- The desire to problem solve, and learn, grow and excel
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude
- Mobile equipment experience
- Previous experience in an industrial process environment
Responsibilities
- Cleanup of plant debris
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the supervisor
