About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Automotive Porter / Shop Cleanup person to help keep the automotive shop clean, organized, and running efficiently. This position supports the technicians and service team by moving vehicles, maintaining the shop, handling basic cleanup, and keeping work areas safe and organized.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record preferred.
Ability to safely drive both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is a plus.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working on your feet and performing physical tasks.
Able to lift and move items weighing approximately 50 pounds.
Must take pride in keeping the shop clean, organized, and professional.

Nice To Haves

Automotive experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Move and park customer vehicles safely around the property.
Pick up and deliver vehicles as needed.
Keep the shop, service bays, parking areas, and customer areas clean and organized.
Sweep, mop, and remove trash throughout the day.
Clean up spills and maintain a safe work environment.
Dispose of used materials and shop waste properly.
Help technicians with basic shop tasks and errands.
Organize tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
Maintain clean and organized vehicle parking areas.
Wash or clean vehicles when needed.
Assist with loading and unloading parts, tires, and supplies.
Check vehicles for obvious cleanliness issues before returning them to customers.
Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies.
Perform other general shop duties as assigned.
