About The Position

The Department of Public and Community Health is seeking a highly organized, punctual, dependable, and customer service-oriented student worker to be part of the team. This role involves working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for Federal Work Study Program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Good customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Professional attitude.
• Ability to stay self-motivated and complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner.
• Must be able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Must be familiar with Health Promotion equipment.
• Must have computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Assists students, faculty, and staff on a daily basis in all areas of Public & Community Health.
• Must exhibit patience, courtesy, respect, active listening skills, and highly-effective interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Some research, department/event preparation, and customer service assistance.
• Occasional Social Media Platform assistance.
• Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
• Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
