About The Position

Junction City School District is seeking three Junction City High School students to work in the technology department during the summer of 2026. This is a temporary position with hours not exceeding 25 total for the summer. The district is committed to building a diverse staff and encourages applications from candidates of color and multilingual candidates.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Junction City High School.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and computer systems.
• Willingness to be fingerprinted for a criminal history records check.
• Inspired by big challenges, driven to learn and grow, and dedicated.

Nice To Haves

• Students will learn iOS and iPad setup procedures using Mosyle MDS.
• Being selected for a project depends on business needs and the learning needs and interests of interns.

Responsibilities

• Complete various Chromebook repairs.
• Perform salvage and inventory techniques for technology.
• Assist in moving old and outdated technology within all buildings in the district.
• Learn iOS and iPad setup procedures using Mosyle MDS.
• Move and inventory iPads and Macs from various school sites.
• Complete other computer repairs and computer maintenance as needed.
• Take ownership of projects and develop a project management plan, work breakdown structure, and schedule.
• Ensure all project requirements and features are understood and delivered on time.
• Maintain attendance, timeliness, completion of work, and work in a safe manner.
