About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Services Department (FMS) at the University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Recycle Equipment Operator on campus. Note: This position is subject to a pre-employment, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test. The candidate selected for hire will be required to sign a form acknowledging this policy.

Requirements

Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
Candidate must be dependable, reliable, thorough, motivated, and detail oriented
Candidates must be willing to work outside for all or the majority of the day
Candidate must be able to work as a member of a team and follow instructions
A valid Class “C” driver’s license or higher operator’s license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
The successful candidates must complete the Defensive Driving course shortly after hire.
Driving carts on busy campus roads along with pedestrians is required for this position.
