About The Position
The Facilities Maintenance Services Department (FMS) at the University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Recycle Equipment Operator on campus. Note: This position is subject to a pre-employment, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test. The candidate selected for hire will be required to sign a form acknowledging this policy.
Requirements
- Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
- Candidate must be dependable, reliable, thorough, motivated, and detail oriented
- Candidates must be willing to work outside for all or the majority of the day
- Candidate must be able to work as a member of a team and follow instructions
- A valid Class “C” driver’s license or higher operator’s license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
- The successful candidates must complete the Defensive Driving course shortly after hire.
- Driving carts on busy campus roads along with pedestrians is required for this position.
