About The Position
The Recreation Service Associate is a student employee responsible for providing an excellent customer service experience and implementing operational details surrounding access control, member services, equipment lending, program registration, and upholding general usage policies for Campus Recreation facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 hours per week
- Ability to prioritize and take initiative
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Responsibilities
- Show initiative and provide excellent customer service to all patrons and visitors.
- Monitor and supervise the access and safe use of recreation facilities.
- Provide accurate information & enter payments for recreation programs, services, and guest access.
- Perform or report operational needs including equipment lending, facility checks, and maintenance needs.
- Comply with Departmental and University policies.
- Perform business operations duties for assigned area of responsibility.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Ability to prioritize and take initiative.
- Assist with various projects, activities and tasks related to business operations.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
