About The Position
General office and customer service duties in support of the SKYCTC Math/Science & Arts/Humanities Department. This position is on the Main Campus, located at 1845 Loop Drive, Bowling Green, KY 42101. The job pays $14.00 an hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Anticipated employment is the 2026 - 2027 academic year, subject to employment expectations, such as dependability, punctuality, and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Submits a completed, current year FAFSA to SKYCTC
- Is a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen
- Is credential-seeking in a SKYCTC program of study
- Maintains a GPA of 2.0 or higher and makes Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Maintains enrollment in 6 or more program-applicable credit hours
- Has “unmet need” in the financial aid budget to allow for a federal work-study award
- Consents to state and national pre-employment background checks, per Kentucky State Law
Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the correct office
- Checking campus mail and delivering to the appropriate offices
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Filing, copying, and scanning documents
- Assisting with event preparation
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
