About The Position

This position focuses on student achievement by working with teachers to ensure high-fidelity implementations of research-based reading program(s) and scientifically-based reading strategies/practices at all elementary levels.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• A valid Florida teaching certificate.
• Certified in 6-12 mathematics for high school and/or 5-9 mathematics for middle school.
• A minimum of three years successful teaching experience.
• Demonstrated competency in knowledge of the Sunshine State Standards, scientifically-based mathematics research, exemplary practices in mathematics instruction and data analysis.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, administration, district staff, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Working with teachers to ensure high-fidelity implementations of research-based reading program(s) and scientifically-based reading strategies/practices at all elementary levels.
• Plan, organize, and direct activities for teachers.
• Facilitate adult training.
