About The Position

A student scribe for the Learning Services department is a representative of the office both in the office and on campus. The appointed individual will listen to assigned audio recordings and produce detailed, accurate written notes. They will work directly with students to clarify content, answer questions, and ensure notes meet their learning needs. This role requires maintaining confidentiality of all student information and course content, communicating effectively with supervisors and students regarding deadlines and note-taking preferences, and using phone etiquette. Computer literacy is required, as is accurate data entry. The student worker will also run campus errands and learn the particulars/responsibilities of the office. A friendly, outgoing, and team-player attitude is essential.
