About The Position
Assists and supports the Chief Village Officer in operating the small, private convenience store on Creekside Community Village campus. This is off-campus employment, so reliable transportation is important. The role involves operating a point-of-sale system, checking out Neighbors, and assisting with stocking and cleaning/organizing as needed.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.
- Reliable transportation and license.
- Proficiency in technical and computer skills (Word, Excel, phone and email).
- Time management and prioritization ability.
- Personable, adaptable, motivated and eager to learn.
- Mature and communicable Christian Faith and spiritual life.
- Willingness to work alongside formerly homeless men and women.
Nice To Haves
- Some familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred or willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
