About The Position

If you are passionate about theology and enjoy supporting ministry work, consider joining Grand Canyon University as a Student Worker with the Flourishing Pastor Program (FPP) at Grand Canyon Theological Seminary. Located in Building 71, the FPP is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking student to provide administrative and communications support. In this role, you will help support the growth and operations of a program that seeks to bridge the gap between seminary and the local church while promoting the long-term effectiveness and well-being of ministry leaders. This position will give you hands-on experience developing your administrative and entrepreneurial skills in a professional setting. As a student worker in the College of Theology, you are a representative of the values and lifestyle that our college upholds. All faculty, staff, and students in our college sign the university’s Doctrinal and Ethical Positions Statements and the College Covenant as a way of indicating that they personally affirm and abide by the values and lifestyle of the college. Thus, affirmation of these standards is also required for a student worker role within the College of Theology.

Requirements

Must have friendly and efficient disposition
Effective communication skills, verbal and written
Previous experience managing a social media account
Proficient using Microsoft Office applications, primarily Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to be able to focus on task, able to multitask, and prioritize tasks
Self-motivated
College of Theology student preferred
Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
