About The Position
ECU Department of Library Services- Joyner is currently seeking Student Technicians to provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff at the Technology & Printing Services desk located on the first floor of Joyner Library.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Effective and clear communication with department staff as well as ECU students, faculty, and staff who use the library.
- Familiarity with technology, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and basic printing knowledge.
- Ability to maintain an organized shared work environment.
- Must be in good academic standing with East Carolina University.
Responsibilities
- Assist ECU students, faculty and staff with technology-related issues. These issues include, but are not limited to printing support, onboarding personal devices to the campus’ Wi-Fi network, and assistance with basic software and hardware questions.
- Processing and printing poster requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
