Hourly Student Employment - Medicaid Student Workers
About The Position
The ECU Department of CIT Medical Information Office is seeking several Medicaid Student Workers to assist the quality team with various clinical quality program duties. Responsibilities include completing patient chart audits in the electronic health record and entering data submissions for quality programs. This role also involves assisting the quality team in performing chart audits on specific quality measures, downloading data into portals, creating drilldown reports for clinical departments, and maintaining statistics on each program. Additionally, there is an opportunity for a student to fulfill internship requirements during the upcoming academic year. This volunteer internship would involve a commitment of approximately 12-15 hours per week during the summer-fall semesters. A longer duration with the team enhances the student’s résumé and their experience with EPIC and quality improvement initiatives.
