About The Position

Join a dynamic university environment as a Student Systems Analyst, driving impactful change in student records management and reporting. You’ll play a pivotal part in supporting day-to-day operations while spearheading the transition to a new National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) data extract process. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with Registrar stakeholders, develop essential documentation, and help shape the future of student data processes.

Requirements

  • Functional experience with Ellucian Banner student systems.
  • In-depth understanding of Registrar operations and student records processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Proven experience developing documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in data interpretation and manipulation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel (including Pivot Tables, basic formulas, lookups), PowerPoint, Word.
  • Comfortable using SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat for document management.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) reporting.
  • Familiarity with Argos or other higher education reporting/analytics tools.
  • Technical aptitude beyond functional Banner knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Registrar staff to deliver daily operational support for student systems and records.
  • Lead the functional transition to a new NSC data extract and reporting process.
  • Drive end-user change management through clear communication and guidance.
  • Meet with Registrar teams to analyze current workflows and provide expertise on data entry requirements.
  • Create user guides, process documentation, training materials, and communication resources.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in student data and reporting needs using strong analytical skills.
  • Work independently, proactively seeking information and clarifications as needed.
  • Collaborate in shared document environments to ensure seamless information flow.
