About The Position

The Student Success Coordinator, within the Department of Cabarrus College of Health Sciences - Academic Student Services, is a full-time position responsible for planning and organizing academic support services. This role involves managing the peer tutoring program, offering academic support workshops, and developing a master schedule for these programs. The coordinator will also plan activities to encourage engagement with faculty and team members, coordinate academic advising, and foster communication between students and instructors. A key focus is facilitating a successful transition to college and developing programs and services to meet individual student needs. Additionally, the role is responsible for planning activities and services to promote graduation and placement, tracking success indicators, and coordinating placement activities to explore career opportunities. The coordinator will also develop policies and procedures for admissions functions and the college, and plan and submit annual budget requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Excellent communication, computer, and organization and time management skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in higher education and student services preferred.

  • Plans and submits annual budget request.
