About The Position

The Student Success Coordinator at Carolinas College of Health Sciences - Academic Student Services is a full-time position responsible for planning and organizing academic support services. This role manages the peer tutoring program, offers academic support workshops, and develops a master schedule for these programs. The coordinator also plans activities to encourage engagement with faculty and team members, coordinates academic advising, and fosters communication between students and instructors. A key aspect of this role is fostering a successful transition to the college and planning programs and services to meet individual student needs. Additionally, the coordinator plans activities and services to promote graduation and placement, tracks success indicators, and coordinates placement activities to explore career opportunities. The role also involves developing policies and procedures for admissions functions and the college, and planning and submitting annual budget requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills required.

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in higher education preferred.
