About The Position

The Student Success Coordinator, within the Department of Academic Student Services at Carolinas College of Health Sciences, is responsible for planning and organizing academic support services. This includes managing the peer tutoring program, offering academic support workshops, and developing a master schedule for these programs. The role also involves planning activities to encourage engagement with faculty and team members, coordinating academic advising, and fostering communication between students and instructors. A key aspect of the position is to foster a successful transition to the college and plan programs and services tailored to individual student needs. Additionally, the coordinator will plan activities and services to promote graduation and placement, track success indicators, and coordinate placement activities and programs to explore career opportunities. The role also entails developing policies and procedures to meet regulatory and operational needs of admissions functions and the college, as well as planning and submitting annual budget requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Excellent communication, computer, and organization and time management skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in higher education and student services preferred.

Responsibilities
