The Student Success Coach is responsible for supporting student career readiness, postsecondary planning, and successful high school completion through the implementation of Educational Development Plans (EDPs), the Michigan Career Development Model, work-based learning experiences, and individualized student support services. The Success Coach provides individualized and small-group support to students in grades 9-12 by utilizing academic, attendance, behavior, and career readiness indicators to identify barriers to success and implement targeted interventions. The position supports the district's Continuous School Improvement (CSI) goals identified for Pathways High School by increasing student engagement in career development activities, strengthening postsecondary planning, expanding work-based learning opportunities, and improving outcomes related to graduation and college and career readiness.
