About The Position

The Office for Undergraduate Education in the College of Agricultural Sciences seeks to fill the full-time position of Student Services Assistant. This position will support the Office of Undergraduate Education's student success mission and work to advance the overall student experience.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience (if filled as Student Services Assistant - Intermediate Support)
  • Associate Degree (if filled as Student Services Assistant - Senior Support)
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted (if filled as Student Services Assistant - Senior Support)
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Support the college scholarship program by processing student awards, maintaining databases, and responding to inquiries
  • Serve as College SEEQ (Student Educational Experience Questionnaire) Representative by maintaining access for college users, train and disseminate SEEQ information, respond to SEEQ questions and investigate issues, and ensure polices are being followed
  • Coordinate and assist with events for the Associate Dean, including events related to teaching excellence and professional development
  • Assist with student engagement activities, programs, and initiatives including preparing and distributing the weekly student newsletter, tracking engagement activities, and identifying potential opportunities to support student engagement
  • Update and maintain website content
  • Responsible for recording and posting meeting minutes for meetings within the Undergraduate Education office
  • Provide support and coverage for other administrative staff as needed
