About The Position

Support the day-to-day activities of the Office(s) of Residential Life & Student Conduct. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, serving as a resource to individuals, and assisting with projects. The ideal candidate will be professional, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Applicant must maintain good conduct and academic standing (minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5)
  • Willingness to commit for entirety of the year
  • Return to campus prior to and/or before the start of the fall and spring semesters for training purposes and/or extra support.
  • Ability to work during breaks.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and to follow through with ideas from conception to completion.
  • Set a positive tone for interaction and demonstrate responsibility and respect for others’ rights, feelings, lifestyles, diverse backgrounds, and for personal and College property.
  • Communicate in a clear and friendly manner.

  • Prior experience working in customer service/office-setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day activities of the Office(s) of Residential Life & Student Conduct.
  • Answering phones, taking messages, answering emails.
  • Opening and closing the offices.
  • Copying, data entry.
  • Making deliveries to and from various campus offices.
  • Providing lock-out coverage.
  • Assisting with key management.
  • Appointment scheduling.
  • Greeting visitors.
  • Serve as a resource to individuals and connect them with campus and community resources.
  • Respond to requests and seek information to answer questions appropriately, including questions regarding housing policies, procedures, and associated concerns.
  • Assist with various projects including contributing to or producing effective marketing materials.
  • Return to campus prior to and/or before the start of the fall and spring semesters for training purposes and/or extra support.
