About The Position

Student Assistant to function as a Student Research Assistant in a research laboratory within the Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity; assists and supports research activities of principal investigator; assists research staff with basic research procedures and experiments under direct supervision; assists with preparation of reagents and solutions for use in experiments; performs laboratory maintenance and general housekeeping tasks; cleans glassware and waterbaths and autoclaves research instruments; maintains inventory of research supplies; runs errands; participates in laboratory meetings and Department activities; other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Student must be enrolled in a degree granting program at OSU
• One year of college coursework or equivalent is desired

Responsibilities
