About The Position

Working under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), project manager, and/or research staff, the Student Research Assistant will support ongoing research projects through data management, analytic workflows, literature review, and general research and laboratory activities that advance the research program. The position pays $12.22–$12.65 per hour for up to 20 hours per week, commensurate with experience and in accordance with University Student Employment guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student in good standing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability and willingness to learn research and data-management tools, including Excel, RStudio, or similar applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle research information appropriately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and research team members.
• Dependable and organized, with the ability to manage assigned tasks and deadlines.
• Professional, with consistent availability for assigned work.
