About The Position

The College of Liberal Arts, Department of Music, is hiring a Student Recording Technician. Located in Goodwin Hall, the position assists the department with recording-related tasks and activities, including recording events and sessions, editing and archiving recordings, maintaining equipment, and training on hardware and software systems.

Requirements

• Must be an enrolled student at Auburn University.
• Audio and video recording experience working with software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule personnel for recording-related events.
• Record audio and video at Department of Music concerts and events, both on and off campus.
• Conduct private audio and video recording sessions for students and faculty.
• Edit recordings in post-production.
• Archive recordings and concert programs.
• Maintain the equipment inventory and upkeep.
• Provide ongoing training for hardware and software systems.
