About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist to gain hands-on clinical experience in a mission-driven healthcare system. This role offers the opportunity to actively learn, grow, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working alongside experienced imaging professionals in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The position is designed for individuals currently enrolled in an ARRT-acknowledged Radiologic Technology program who are ready to apply classroom learning to real-world action.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an ARRT-acknowledged Radiologic Technology program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification at time of hire
- Passion for patient care and a strong desire to learn in a clinical environment
- Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, including patient positioning and exam preparation
- Provide compassionate, professional care to patients of all ages
- Learn and apply radiation safety practices and imaging protocols
- Observe and support workflow in a busy radiology department
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and care teams
- Build confidence while strengthening technical and interpersonal skills
