About The Position

Requirements

Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or currently enrolled in an ARRT-recognized radiology program.
If enrolled in an ARRT-recognized program, notify a supervisor and/or Human Resources if no longer participating during employment.
After completing the ARRT program, successfully complete the ARRT registry examination and obtain ARRT registration within one year of hire.
Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Military Training Network at hire.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain exams to support a positive patient experience.
Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to support quality patient care.
