About The Position

The Program Manager in the Office of Student Outreach and Support (SOS) plays a central role in sustaining the multifaceted operations of SOS and the Student of Concern Assistance Team (SOCAT), serving as a key point of coordination for the university's Care referral system and non-clinical student support. The primary purpose of this role is to assess and manage students of concern—from mild to critical risk—by identifying areas of need, developing intervention plans, and helping undergraduate and graduate students navigate academic, social, and personal challenges. This includes providing guidance on accessing university resources, connecting students with community services, supporting medical care coordination and hospitalization discharge planning, and assisting with university campus wide support and response when needed. The incumbent must be able to plan, organize, and evaluate SOS campus intervention efforts and programs specific to their designated campus. While the role does not supervise staff, it requires strong leadership in program development, implementation, and evaluation, along with an understanding of relevant federal, state, and university policies to ensure student well-being and enhance the overall university experience.
