Requirements
- Studying Communication, English, Business, Journalism, or related fields
- Want to build a portfolio in writing, podcasting, video, or leadership
- Thrive in collaborative, fast-paced, and creative environments
- Excited to shape the voice of student media
- Promote an Inclusive Westminster through demonstration of the commitments include in the Westminster University Diversity Statement.
- Participate in developmental activities to increase understanding and awareness of issues related diversity, equity and Inclusion both individually and as related to my filed of work, profession or discipline.
Nice To Haves
- Passionate about journalism, media, writing, editing, digital storytelling, or research
- Experience in journalism, multimedia, or leading creative teams
Responsibilities
- Create and edit multimedia stories for campus audiences
- Publish stories, manage the website, and run social media
- Handle advertising, promotions, and budgeting
- Guide writers, oversee deadlines, and support the Editor in Chief
- Lead the entire publication, assign stories, and shape editorial direction
