About The Position

At the MUSC Wellness Center, student employees assist in supervising the fitness areas to ensure the safety and enhance the experience of our members. This position is reserved for MUSC STUDENTS ONLY. Apply to the position with a personal email address, NOT your MUSC email address.

Requirements

• Must be a current student at the Medical University of South Carolina.
• Must have or be able to obtain CPR/AED certification within 60 days of being hired.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the weight room and cardio area to ensure the safety of members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to members by addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may come up.
• Assist with cleaning the exercise equipment at the MUSC Wellness Center.
• Assist members in checking out equipment to fulfill their exercise and recreation requirements.
• Assist in opening and closing the facility as per shift requirements.
• Perform any additional tasks as required.
